Rahu Kalam, Nalla Neram, tithi and nakshatra for your city — computed for its exact coordinates and local time, not copied from an Indian calendar. Especially made for the Gulf.

Panchang — questions

What is a panchang?

A panchang is the traditional daily almanac built from five limbs — tithi (lunar day), nakshatra (the Moon's star), yoga, karana and vara (weekday). From these come the day's good and bad windows: Rahu Kalam, Yamagandam, Nalla Neram, Amrit Kalam and the choghadiya.

Why a separate panchang for each city?

Rahu Kalam and every other daily window depend on the local sunrise and sunset — so Doha's Rahu Kalam is not Kochi's. Each city page here is computed for that city's own sky.

What is Nalla Neram (Abhijit Muhurta)?

Abhijit Muhurta is the auspicious midday window — roughly 24 minutes either side of local solar noon — considered good for starting most ventures.
